From the heliport in Waikoloa, your tour heads north along the coast to view the incredible Kohala coastline. Your helicopter tour allows you to see areas that are inaccessible for everyone else. Witness towering waterfalls and historic settlements. Fly down the Waipio Valley, home to many ancient legends and historical events. This short, 45-min Big Island helicopter tour takes in the best of the Big Islandʻs coastal views, waterfalls and valleys.
Your 45 Minute Helicopter Tour departs from Waikoloa, located just north of the Kona International Airport. The highlight of your tour is the Kohala and Hamakua Coast. Tour is limited to only 6 passengers per helicopter with several departure times throughout the day, we recommend that you book in advance. Tour the Kohala coast, valleys, and waterfalls. Many consider this area along with the Hamakua Coast to have the most spectacular scenery on the Big Island.

- We do not provide transportation to the heliport at Waikoloa, we will send you the address where the heliport is located and please indicate hotel where you staying. We will do our best to book the time you’ve indicated, but it may change depending on the number of guests on tour, but we will let you know in advance for your approval.
- Also during check out please note your body weight, and during check-in at the heliport, we will discreetly have you weigh to determine seat assignment for proper balancing of the helicopter as required by the FAA. Guests may also be required to pay for a comfort seat if weight is over 250 lbs, but we will let you know once we confirm your booking.
Regarding front row seat reservations:
For your safety, a combined front row seat weight must be under 319lbs for an A-star tour and 470 lbs for Eco-Star tours. Individual passenger weights must be under 250 lbs for A-Star and 260 lbs for Eco-Star.
Children in laps cannot ride in the front row. Front row passengers must be able to speak English in case of emergency. Chair lifts can only be accessed in the rear row. To safely balance the aircraft, for each guest weighing 260 or more, an adjacent empty seat purchase is required. This “comfort” set is reduced to 50% of the tour price
