Luau Description
Experience a vivid journey back in time with The Feast at Mokapu Luau, a vibrant and immersive cultural spectacle curated by the renowned Tihati Productions. Set against the backdrop of the stunning Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort, this luau is a profound celebration of the deep historical connections between Hawaii and the South Pacific, particularly Tahiti. This exceptional event not only tells the story of our Polynesian ancestors settling in the land division of Maui but also offers unique insights into the Hawaiian values of love, connection, and responsibility to the land.
The luau unfolds in three mesmerizing acts, each narrating different eras and aspects of Hawaiian history and culture. The first act pays tribute to the brilliance of ancient navigation, while the second act honors the great chiefs of Maui, Piʻilani, and the demi-god Maui. The third act brings to life the stories of the Paniolo, or Hawaiian cowboys, culminating with a spectacular Siva Afi or fire knife dance of Samoa. The Feast at Mōkapu Lūʻau is not just a feast for the senses but also a journey into the heart of Hawaii's rich cultural heritage. Come join us and be a part of this unforgettable experience.
