There is a lot to see on the island of Maui, and the best way to experience it all is with a private tour guide. Along with providing excellent, stylish, comfortable transportation, your guide will provide you with a day of excitement and adventure.

Take 8 or 10 hours to explore the Road to Hana with all its unique treasures, awe-inspiring waterfalls, and incredible ocean cliffs. Take a tasting journey, have a romantic lunch, go deep into a cave, stop at a botanical garden, and much more. Include add-ons to your journey so you can do everything on your bucket list.

All our private tours include a pick-up at your hotel, condo, or residence, anywhere on the island.

Primarily, our private tours will take guests down the Hana Highway. We can take various routes depending on your group size and vehicle availability.

Standard Private Hana Tour

This tour takes guests along the Hana Highway out to Hana and then back again on the Hana Highway. We will stop at many great places at the right times so you get the best experience. We will have more time at the best stops along the road.

Circle Island Hana Tour - currently closed to traffic

This tour route is only available in our Jeeps or rugged Expeditions due to the roughness of the roads on this route. This is not ideal for larger groups, seniors, or children, as the time between stops is longer. The views are amazing, and you can see some unique sites and plenty of waterfalls.

Please dress for all weather. A light jacket and closed-toe shoes are recommended.

Standard Hana Tour

8:00 am	Pickup at your hotel or condo 5:30 am For those traveling from Oahu Travel in comfort in a van or Mercedes Sprinter (your choice) 8:30 am pickup for those at the Kahului pier or airport
8:40 am	Drive through the North Shore surf town of Paia
9:00 am	Stop for a light breakfast, snacks, coffee, or smoothie at a country cafe
9:40 am	Enter the winding part of the Hana Highway (600 turns and over 50 one-lane bridges)
10:10 am	Stop For Rainbow Eucalyptus Trees And Other Rainforest Flowers
10:40 am	Check out the banana bread at Keanae Peninsula and the tide pools, too!
11:10 am	Sightseeing waterfalls, flowers, and more on the Hana Highway. We know where all the clean washrooms are.
12:00 pm	Stop for lunch at a variety of places in Hana (meals on your own).
12:50 pm	Tour a variety of beaches around the village of Hana.
1:30 pm	Stop at Waianapanapa State Park for a lava tube and a black sand beach. We make a long stop here to explore.
2:30 pm	Make a tasty treat stop for coconut ice cream. (if you want)
2:50 pm	Stop at a waterfall pool for swimming and fun (if weather permits)
3:30 pm	Cruise the Hana Highway
4:30 pm	Stop to see some turtles and other marine life (if available)
6:00 pm	Return to your hotel or Resort in South or West Maui

This tour is available every day of the year. Some locations are not open on certain days of the week, so please choose your day carefully. We aim to provide you with the best day on Maui, so don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

Garden Of Eden
This stop along the road to Hana is a private garden with beautiful flora and fauna as well as a beautiful waterfall scene to look down on. This takes about 45-minutes to explore this well manicured garden with pathways, plant signage and more.

Hana Cave
Go deep into the earth into a lava tube. Carved by flowing lava many centuries ago, you can see the different types of lava, rock and formations on this 30 minute underground exploration with lights included.

Kahanu National Tropical Garden
The garden is more of a historical site than what you would think of as a garden. The trees, and plants have a purpose or a story behind them. The centerpiece of the area is one of the largest heiaus (temples) in Hawaii.

Foodie Tour
We turn your experience into a mouthwatering adventure. We will pull out all the stops in your tasting adventure. Eat you way across the island and you will love every moment of it. Pupus (appetizer) or Full Meal options.

Skip The Highway Flight Lesson & Tour
For smaller groups, you can have an actual flying lesson to or from Hana in a small plane. It is a great way to bump up your vacation a notch and get hooked on flying yourself. Your guide can meet you in Hana for a land tour!

Cancellation

Any request for a refund 72 hours or more prior to the start of the tour or activity is honored with a full cash refund.

No refunds are issued for any cancellations inside the 72-hour period, prior to the start of your tour. There is no refund for no-shows. There is no charge for date change or tour change based on tour availability outside of the 72-hour cancellation period.

For any cancellation request to be valid, it must be submitted by email to [email protected] or talk to one of our live agents at 808-379-3701. Any refund request left on voice mail, social messaging platform, or sent to any other email will not be considered valid.

Can I Get A Refund If I Cancel My Tour?

We have a strict 72-hour cancellation policy and no refund is given after that time. Anytime before that, we provide a 100% refund on your tour so you can book now without any worry if your plans change.
How Big Of A Group Can We Handle?

There is no group that is too large for us to organize a private tour for. Our biggest vehicles are 24 passenger mini-buses so your group will be split across multiple vehicles. For even larger groups, we will work with one of our transportation providers, so you get the best experience possible. We do specialize in groups under 12 and provide tours using our Jeeps, SUVs, Minivans and Mercedes Sprinter vans.
I Want To Do The Road To Hana, How Many Hours Is That?

The road to Hana takes about 10 hours if you make a lot of stops for only a little bit of time. We recommend adding more time at checkout if you are planning to hit a number of places like the caves or botanical gardens. You donʻt want to rush to some of these places. The tour starts on pickup so if your tour starts in Kapalua, be prepared for a 12-hour day.
Do Any Of Your Vehicles Have Washrooms On-Board?

None of the vehicles that travel the road to Hana are large enough to have a washroom inside. There are many stops along the way that have questionable cleanliness. The guides will make sure to find you all the clean bathroom stops at the right times when you need them. They even have extra toilet paper and cleaning supplies too!

Do You Provide Tours From The Cruise Ships?

We provide private tours from the cruise ships docking at Kahului and tethering at Lahaina. Doing a full tour to Hana from Lahaina is sometimes not possible due to available time. A tour needs at least 10 hours to get to Hana and back at a comfortable pace. We always customize the tours for our guests' expectations and timing. We want you to have the best day on Maui.
