Halona Blowhole was created by volcanic activity thousands of years ago and now sporadically shoots seawater up to 30 feet in the air when waves pass through the underwater lava tubes. A Malasada is a Portuguese doughnut without a hole. Leonard’s pastry chefs fry generously sized balls of dough until they're golden brown on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside. Then, the pastry can be filled with any number of delicious ingredients like custard, chocolate, or haupia (coconut)
Leonard’s began making malasadas as part of the Portuguese tradition for Shrove Tuesday in 1953. Now, they are made continuously every day. Leonard’s is Hawaiʻi’s original malasada bakery.
All malasadas are made with a special dough using the finest ingredients. They're ʻOno, as we say in Hawaiʻi.

No refunds are issued for any cancellations inside the 72-hour period, prior to the start of your tour. There is no refund for no-shows. There is no charge for date change or tour change based on tour availability outside of the 72-hour cancellation period.

You do not need to have any experience in photography to join any of our tours. We know that sometimes people feel that they cannot take photos, but let us show you that you can.
Should I bring my own camera?

Yes! Bring your camera. Bring whatever it is that you take pictures with. Our Oahu photo tours are not just for those who have decided to invest hundreds of dollars into their camera equipment. We don’t care if you take pictures with an iPad or a Polaroid. As long as you bring something to capture the beauty with you, you’ll be fine.
Is this tour safe?

Our tours, adventurous in nature, still put your safety first. We carry a first aid kit on board at all times. The tour guide is there to let you know what is safe and what is not.
What should I wear?

It is recommended that you wear closed-toe shoes. Bring a hat and some glasses to block away the sometimes intense sun. You may want to put on some sunblock as well.
