Umauma Waterfall Swim & SUP
Hop off your horse and cool off in the pools of this hidden waterfall. Take in the serenity of Umauma Falls. If you are feeling adventurous, jump on a stand up paddleboard and cruise around the freshwater lagoon or cool off with a refreshing swim. Then have a snack before hitting the trail to head home.

The private trail offers breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean as you follow your guide along the rugged trail. Your destination is a breathtakingly beautiful, year-round waterfall.
- Let the horses graze in the shade as you spend 45 minutes swimming and stand-up paddling in the refreshingly cool water of Umauma Falls. This is the perfect spot to enjoy a snack while basking in the serenity and natural beauty this exclusive location has to offer.
- After a relaxing break, hop back in the saddle and head back to the barn, riding through fields and forests. With 1 hour and 45 minutes of ride-time from start to finish, you will be a true paniolo (cowboy) by the day’s end!
- This is a family-friendly ride, so riders of all ages can come along! With a maximum of 10 riders per tour, a personable experience is guaranteed. Your friendly guide will teach all riders the basics before hitting the trail.
- With the saddle pack, a helmet, and stand up paddle boards provided, this trail riding experience is seamlessly simple, maximizing every rider’s fun. Bring your own snack and water bottle or stock up beforehand at the Umauma Visitor Center.

Instructions
- Kamaʻaina discounts and military discounts are only offered through direct booking with Wailea Horse Adventures. No refunds or credit changes may be made on previous bookings, no refunds will be given to reservations that have already been placed.
- If you have a hotel voucher, it needs to be presented on the day of your ride to be honored. Screenshot or photo or print your voucher/ticket to present at the time of check-in.
- A waiver will need to be signed at check-in. Minors 13 years old and younger will be required to wear a helmet (for safety). Minors 8 - 18 must be accompanied by an adult on the ride. You must be at least 8 years old to ride.
- A minimum of two riders is required per tour.
- Riding ability will be accessed prior to the tour. All levels are welcome. You may bring personal belongs in the saddle pack, but it is recommended that you leave all valuables in your car.
- Plan on arriving 20 minutes prior to designated tour time to allow for traffic, restroom use, and snack purchases.
- It is recommended that you bring a camera and towel. Wear your swimsuit under your clothes.
Cancellation
A full refund is available up to 72-hours prior to your tour starting (at 9:00 AM or 12:30 PM). After that time, there will be no refunds for late-shows or no-shows.
Cancellations may include handling fee charges on refunds.
