The half-day tour option offers the same fantastic tour experience but starts later in the day than the full-day tour. Instead of hiking through a rainforest, the half-day tour begins with downhill biking and then guests will board the catamaran to do some snorkeling.

The Hawaiian reef is a beautiful and unique ecosystem that is home to many different types of fish and marine life. The warm waters fronting Waikiki Beach offer a great opportunity to see honu (green sea turtles) and tropical reef fish. There are many different types of coral reef fish, including angelfish, clownfish, damselfish, parrotfish, and surgeonfish. These fish are often brightly colored and have interesting patterns. Nai’a (spinner dolphins) are sometimes seen playing off the wake of our catamaran. Seasonal kohola (Pacific Humpback whales) are usually seen between the months of December through April.

Enjoy a full-day adventure that begins with a specially guided hike through a private rainforest area. The 2-mile round-trip hike through the heart of Oahu's jungle is of moderate intensity. It presents an opportunity to immerse yourself in rich flora and tranquil water streams and witness a dazzling 35-foot waterfall. Following the hike, a shuttle service will transport you to Puu Ohia, almost 2000ft high in the Koolau mountains. From this point, you can enjoy a leisurely 5-mile downhill cruise on a comfy bike, gliding over paved paths in the dense Oahu rainforest. Our nature guides will make strategic stops at various overlooks, highlighting noteworthy locations and geological wonders, providing an elevated view of Honolulu and Waikiki.

Following your bike exploration, we'll take you to Kewalo Basin to step aboard our impressive 38.6-ft catamaran. Powered by twin 140hp engines and equipped with a Bose Sound System, we'll embark on a serene journey across the azure Pacific Ocean, departing from the stunning shores of Waikiki. Any request for a refund 72 hours or more prior to the start of the tour or activity is honored with a full cash refund.

No refunds are issued for any cancellations inside the 72-hour period, prior to the start of your tour. There is no refund for no-shows. There is no charge for date change or tour change based on tour availability outside of the 72-hour cancellation period.

The full-day version of the tour is about 8.5 hours, and the half-day version is close to 5.5 hours.
What should I bring?

All of the gear for biking and snorkeling will be provided, but we do have a few items we recommend bringing which include but are not limited to, a camera, swimwear, a towel, sun protection, and bug spray.
Is transportation included?

Yes, but only for pickup and the duration of the tour. Once the tour concludes and you have disembarked from the catamaran you will need to find transportation back to your hotel.
