Kealakekua Bay’s waters offer some of the best visibility in the entire state and a wealth of tropical reefs to explore. This bay also hosts unique marine life found nowhere else in Hawaii. While effortlessly gliding through the refreshing waters, snorkelers often spot flame angelfish, butterflyfish, lizardfish, and other rarities.
Our knowledgeable staff will share with you the history and culture of Hawai’i as we travel from the birthplace of the great monarch King Kamehameha III, who reigned longer than any other royalty in Hawaii’s history. As we cruise south to Kealakekua Bay, we will pass by the Kuamo’o Battlefield, learning about the final battle at this site and the Royal Holua Slide, which is the largest and best-preserved in all of Hawai’i.
