Departure: Check in at the office one hour before flight time, Lihue, Kauai. The office address will be in your confirmation email.

Instructions

We do not provide transportation to the heliport at Waikoloa, we will send you the address where the heliport is located and please indicate hotel where you staying. We will do our best to book the time you've indicated, but it may change depending on the number of guests on tour, but we will let you know in advance for your approval.
Also during check out please note your body weight, and during check-in at the heliport, we will discreetly have you weigh to determine seat assignment for proper balancing of the helicopter as required by the FAA. Guests may also be required to pay for a comfort seat if weight is over 250 lbs, but we will let you know once we confirm your booking.

Regarding front row seat reservations:

For your safety, a combined front row seat weight must be under 319lbs for an A-star tour and 470 lbs for Eco-Star tours. Individual passenger weights must be under 250 lbs for A-Star and 260 lbs for Eco-Star.

Children in laps cannot ride in the front row. Front row passengers must be able to speak English in case of emergency. Chair lifts can only be accessed in the rear row. To safely balance the aircraft, for each guest weighing 260 or more, an adjacent empty seat purchase is required. This “comfort” set is reduced to 50% of the tour price.

Restrictions

Seating for parties of more than 6, or weighing a combined 1000lbs, will be seated across multiple aircrafts. Please provide accurate body weights as our ability to execute tours depends on this.

Cancellation

Provide at least 72 hours notice before your tour to cancel or change your reservation. We will be happy to accommodate you.
Cancellations and no-shows within 48 hours of your scheduled tour time will incur a 100% cancellation fee.

Will I See Dolphins And/Or Whales?

While we can’t guarantee any sightings, spinner dolphins and humpback whales are often spotted off the Kohala and Hamakua Coast. Taking a tour between November and April increases these chances.
Can I Take Pictures?

Yes! Pictures are encouraged. Please note, however, that photos must be taken safely within the aircraft.
What Is The Best Way To Get To The Heliport?

As transportation is not provided on this particular tour, we always recommend coordinating transportation through your hotel. Each hotel should be able to provide information on taxi services and pricing.
How Many People Can Fit On A Helicopter?

We can accommodate parties up to 6 per flight.

Are Children Allowed On This Flight?

Yes! Children are allowed including babies too young to sit in a seat alone. People with babies on their lap will sit in the larger back seats for comfort.
