We have a special day planned for you. Our luxury tour is about connecting to Hawaiʻi and the Hana in all sorts of ways. Food is a great way to connect to an area and support the local community. We head out on this day, purchasing treats and goodies on your behalf at various locations. Things that you must try so you can really appreciate the local flavors. From banana bread, huli huli chicken, tropical fruits, and local baked goods to farm-fresh, locally sourced ingredients, there are a lot of tasty stops. Your guide will even prepare a little something special too!
No trip to Hana is complete without a stop at Waiʻānapanapa State Park. This location, located on the edge of Hana town contains a black sand beach, lava tube, blowhole, and a beautiful coastal walking trail. We spend time enjoying this very special place. You can go for a short hike, a swim, or sit and watch the wildlife. Your guide may even share a number of ancient stories that occurred right there in the park.
There is nothing like a Hana tour if you are looking to gaze at many beautiful, tropical waterfalls. As the tour winds its way into the rainforest, the lush vegetation hides waterfalls around almost every corner. One of the most striking and picturesque waterfalls on tour is a stop. A perfect place to get that beauty shot with your loved ones or an epic selfie. You will even be able to go for a swim when conditions permit, in a waterfall pool.

A tour to Hana will be one of the most memorable experiences you will have on the island of Maui. The road to Hana is one of the most famous highways and is the longest drivable rainforest in the USA.
Around every turn and at every bridge there are beautiful views to take in. You will see it all through large windows, from your captain's chair, in our comfortable luxury tour vans. Your day starts with hotel pickup and brings you out towards the Hana Highway. Your guide will tell stories of the land, the culture, and the people whom you may meet along the way.
We will make stops throughout the day for meals. Your guide will provide great options throughout the day. Included in the tour are local treats, pupus (appetizers), tropical fruit, and various snacks plus cold non-alcoholic drinks throughout the day. This tour also includes a hot lunch and breakfast stop at great local spots. (We encourage guests to also purchase from the community as they depend on your support.)
We make many stops along the way at oceanside cliff lookouts, Keanae Peninsula, rainbow trees and so much more.
Arriving in Hana, your guide will make a variety of stops for sightseeing and a meal. There are many wonderful little places for lunch so we allow you to work with your guide to choose the spot for the day. Our guide will pre-order based on your preferences so everyone will be happy.
After lunch we head back down the way we came, making stops at Waianapanapa State Park to enjoy a black sand beach and lava tube as well as time to hike along the shoreline and even see a blowhole.
We will have time to also swim at the black sand beach or at a fresh-water waterfall pool along the road to Hana. Your choice of one, or both. Your tour guide will lead you along the road to Hana, spotting more waterfalls, and making additional short stops as we make our way back to civilization.
If time allows and the season is right, your guide will stop to spot the Hawaiian green sea turtles that rest on the North Shore beaches. This time of day will make for beautiful pictures and if the surf is up, some pro surfers and windsurfers riding the waves.
Your guide returns you safely back to your hotel or condo around 5:30 pm, a full-day tour filled with incredible sights, great food, wonderful stories, and plenty of local culture too.

We encourage our guests to spend in the Hana community and purchase directly from the families running small farms, food trucks, roadside stands, cafes, and stores. The best way to support and connect with a community is to purchase food and items from that area. You will feel the aloha.
Full Meal Version
Your guide will provide a full breakfast and lunch item per person. A local breakfast may include options like a breakfast burrito, with farm-fresh eggs and local ingredients with a Polynesian flair. Other options include smoothies, smoked salmon bagels, avocado toast, or eggs and a muffin. Great food that prepares you for a day of exploration.
At lunch, you will be able to choose from a variety of food options for your full meal, including burgers, sandwiches, and salads made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Additionally, the restaurant offers a comprehensive drink menu with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, as well as a special keiki menu for children.
A variety of canned juices are available in the cooler all day long.
Gluten-Free and vegan options are available. Your guide will take your specific food orders and offerings prior to your tour date.

No refunds are issued for any cancellations inside the 72-hour period, prior to the start of your tour. There is no refund for no-shows. There is no charge for date change or tour change based on tour availability outside of the 72-hour cancellation period.
