Activities may include thatching of traditional Hawai'ian hale (grass huts); cleaning, planting, and harvesting the kalo (taro) plants; or mālama of the laʻau lapaʻau (medicinal plants). You'll also learn about how important these plants are to Hawai'ian culture. This is a great opportunity to connect with nature and learn more about the Hawai'ian way of life.
