Do I Need To Have Experience With Kalo To Take This Tour?

No, you don't need any experience! This tour is perfect for anyone who wants to learn about Hawaiian culture and sustainability.
What Should I Wear On The Tour?

We recommend comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting dirty. You will be doing some hands-on work in the loi (taro field), so closed-toe shoes are a must. Sunscreen and a hat are also recommended.

Is Transportation To Kualoa Ranch Automatically Included In All The Tours?

Transportation is not included to the ranch which is about an hour outside of Waikīkī. Depending on the time of your tour, there may be group transportation available from Waikīkī or Ko Olina. We can arrange transportation for your group out to Kualoa and return for a fee.
When in the taro fields, do you go barefoot or need shoes?

You will enter the loi (taro fields) in your bare feet and pull up your pants (or wear shorts). The depth averages up to below your knees.
