Oahu Sights & Bites Tour Features
Leonard’s Bakery
Leonard’s Bakery has been a staple on the island of Oahu for over 60 years. It is known for its malasadas, a Portuguese deep-fried doughnut that is often coated in sugar and cinnamon. Malasadas are a popular snack item in Hawaii, and Leonard’s Bakery is considered to have some of the best on the island. The bakery is also well-known for its pastries, cakes, and other assorted sweet treats. Leonard’s Bakery is a must-visit!
The Koolau Mountains
The Koolau Mountains are a range of mountains located on the east side of the island of Oahu, in Hawaii. The mountains are some of the most rugged on the island and offer beautiful scenery and hiking trails. The Koolau Mountains are also home to numerous waterfalls, including Manoa Falls and Sacred Falls. The Koolau Mountains are a great option for a beautiful and serene place to observe Oahu’s natural beauty
Beautiful Pua'ena Beach Park
Pua'ena Point Beach Park, nestled on Oahu's vibrant North Shore beside Haleiwa Beach Park, is a favored haven primarily recognized within the local surf community for its excellent surf conditions. This coastal gem, featuring a small sandy stretch, is famous for its surf, the Hawaiian Green Sea turtles (Honu), and the beautiful landscape.
The green sea turtles are endangered, so you must keep your distance. Please stay 10 feet away from the turtles at all times. But since they don’t move fast, this is your chance to get a good picture of a green sea turtle in Hawaii!

Description
Begin your adventure by boarding your air-conditioned vehicle and enjoy a narrated scenic drive along the south and east shore coastline of Oahu.
Our first stop is at the Diamond Head/Amelia Earhart Lookout, where our guests will enjoy a fresh Malasada (Portuguese donut) from the world-famous Leonard’s Bakery and panoramic views of the popular local surf beach.
As we continue on the East Coast, our next stop is at the Hanauma Bay Viewpoint, a curved bay formed when the side of a crater collapsed thousands of years ago. Boasting pristine white sands and crystal blue waters, this protected cove (also a marine preserve) features a large, rich coral reef home to an amazing array of sea life.
From here, guests will enjoy a scenic ride to the famous Halona Point blowhole, where, when tide conditions are right, waves surging through a submerged lava tube erupt in a spectacular geyser of seawater! Keep a keen eye out from December through May for a glimpse of giant humpback whales that frequent the waters here and green sea turtles year-round.
Travel to higher altitudes to take in breathtaking views of the island’s lush windward side from the Pali Lookout in the rugged Koolau Mountains. This stunning lookout was the site of a bloody battle in 1795 in which King Kamehameha I forced hundreds of his opponents to jump to their deaths from the cliffs in what was called the “Battle of the Leaping Fish.”
From the Pali, we head to the Tropical Macadamia Nut Farm, where guests can sample local coffee, chocolate & macadamia nuts.
As we make our way to the North Shore of Oahu, we stop for lunch at the Shrimp Truck and Kahuku Fruit stand, where guests can get another taste of the island’s cuisine.
While we're at the North Shore, we will stop at beautiful Pua'ena Beach Park. We'll spot some Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles (Honu) if we're lucky.
Last but definitely not least, we travel to the Famous Dole Pineapple Plantation, where guests will have the chance to try the delicious Dole Whip, a dairy-free pineapple dessert.
