Our day begins with a stop at Pearl Harbor. This National Monument includes numerous museums and exhibits in and around the Visitor Center. After a brief historical film screening of the Pearl Harbor attack, we’ll board a Navy skip an motor out to the Arizona Memorial. Walk the deck of this amazing memorial building suspended over the sunken battleship. Talk to a volunteer veteran, read the historical signs and plaques. Enter the solemn room housing the “Wall of Remembrance” where the names of all 1,177 of the fallen sailors aboard the sunken battleship are etched in marble.

We’ll next head north from Pearl Harbor to get some great treats at the Dole Pineapple Plantation. This stop has a variety of exhibits that celebrate the history of pineapples in Hawaii. Explore the pavilion store that holds some great souvenirs as well as the “Dole Whip” – the best pineapple ice cream on the island! There is also a vintage train, the worlds largest outdoor maze, the pineapple gardens and other paid attractions at this location for you to enjoy (not included in tour price) if you choose. Relax on the porch enjoy a snack, but not too much as our next stop is for lunch…

On this Oahu & Pearl Harbor Circle Island Tour, we'll visit some of the most popular attractions on the island starting with the USS Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor. We'll board a Navy skip and watch a short film with historic footage of Hawaii before visiting the memorial itself.

Leaving Pearl Harbor, we'll take a journey in a large circle around the island of Oahu, visiting special sites, stopping at overlooks, and getting a full historical, and cultural experience of the "Gathering Isle". Highlights include the Pali lookout, great North Shore beaches, coastal viewpoints, and the Dole Pineapple Plantation.

*Note: Occasionally, unforeseen circumstances might lead the Navy to halt or limit the capacity of boat trips to the USS Arizona Memorial. Should this happen, you might be placed on a standby list. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide refunds in these instances, but we apologize for any inconvenience caused. Despite this, you will still have access to the exhibits, the Visitors’ Center, and other monuments within the park.

7:30 AM	Stop In historic downtown Honolulu at King Kamehameha Statue
8:00 AM	Start the USS Arizona Memorial Program. Board Navy Launch to USS Arizona Memorial
10:30 AM	Depart to North Shore with stop at Dole Pineapple Plantation
11:30 AM	Arrive in the North Shore area.
12:30 PM	Lunch on your own, your guide will recommend a few options for lunch in the Kahuku Sugar Mill. (Food Trucks)
1:50 PM	Stop at Kualoa Regional Park. Great spot for pictures and to see an iconic mountain range and island.
2:10 PM	Have an afternoon treat at the Tropical Farms Macadamia Nut Farm. Tasty samples of mac nuts are available.
3:00 PM	Drive up to the Nuuanu Pali Lookout for incredible views of the coastline. Historic area and the site of a major historic battle.
4:30 PM	Return to Waikiki Resorts & Hotels

Food & Drink

For lunch, we stop in the North Shore at the Kahuku Sugar Mill. You can wander the food trucks that are available and get some food on your own (meals are not included in the price of this tour). Your guide will let you know the best options for the time you have in this area.
Tour route may change slightly, day-to-day, so your guide may choose to take you to some classic north shore food trucks and stop in Haleiwa later in the day. Talk to your guide about the best experience and food options for that day.
There are options for packaged and pre-prepared food at Pearl Harbor Visitor Center.

Instructions

While there is no official dress code to visit the Pearl Harbor Historic Sites, we ask visitors to dress appropriately and respectfully. Swimsuits are not acceptable. High heels, skirts, and dresses are also not recommended. Flip-flops and sandals are permitted; however, we encourage you to wear closed-toe shoes as there is a lot of walking when visiting the Pearl Harbor Historic Sites.
For security reasons, no bags are allowed. Additionally, no iPad cases or clutch wallets are permitted. A wallet must be no larger than a regular-sized cell phone.
Bags are not allowed in Pearl Harbor Visitor Center but if needed may be checked and stored for $7.00 per small bag or $10.00 per large bag. It is recommended only essential items such as phones, wallets, and a water bottle or any needed medicines be brought on tour.
Bags that are allowed must be a clear bag approved by the US Navy, like the ones pictured below:

Cancellation

In the event of cancellation or request change to your reservation, please note the following. For tours originating from Oahu, there is no charge for date change or tour change based on tour availability, but it must be made 72 hours prior to the original tour day. No refunds are issued for any tours within the 72 hours prior to the start of your tour.
No stop is guaranteed to be operating on the day of your tour. We have no control of Navy and Army operations, which may result in the closure of Ford Island or the boats going to the Arizona Memorial without notice. In the event of this occurring, our guides will make up for it in a variety of ways, so your experience is always worthwhile.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can We Be Picked Up At Places Other Than In Waikiki?

Yes, talk to our team as we provide tour pickup at the Cruise ship Pier, the airport, private residences and Airbnb throughout the island as well as other cities like North Shore and Ko Olina. A pickup fee will be required and certain dates may be unavailable.
What Options Are There For Food?

At Pearl Harbor there is a small snack stand. We also will stop at the Dole Plantation, Haleiwa town and various stops throughout the day that will provide food for purchase. Your guide will have some recommendations based upon the group and what your custom needs may be. Shrimp and other food trucks are highly rated and are a personal preference of your guides as the quality and variety helps satisfy most guests.
How Many People Are On This Tour With A Single Guide?

We provide only small group tours of 12 persons or less. At Pearl Harbor we may be grouped in with a larger amount of people for certain parts of that experience. We provide this tour in our Mercedes Sprinter vehicles with max 12 passengers (10 passengers if you are on a tour with flights).
What Is The Difference Between This Tour And Other Circle Island Tours?

This tour includes a stop at the most popular attraction in Hawaii, Pearl Harbor. A tour of the island is not complete without a visit to the USS Arizona Memorial. Are the tickets for the Arizona included?

Visiting Arizona Memorial is part of all our guided Pearl Harbor experiences. You will receive your ticket to board the boat ride to the memorial from your guide in the morning. The program will be about 1.5 hours if you watch the historic film footage presentation at the visitor center as well.
