Description

You’ll begin this helicopter tour with expansive views of the Waikīkī skyline built upon the sands of this world-renowned beach. Diamond Head’s tiara will appear before you as you fly along, sometimes jeweled with rainbows, as it reigns upon the South Shore. Rounding the crownlike ridges, you’ll pass Hanauma Bay, where the sandy beaches turn to jagged volcanic cliffs carved out by the relentless surge of the mighty Pacific Ocean.

Soar over the charming Makapu’u Lighthouse and continue up the island’s Windward Coast to see the storied Ko’olau mountains in the distance. Pass over Lanikai Beach and the offshore sandbars and coral formations that make Kāneʻohe Bay one of the most picturesque places on Earth. Then, as your helicopter cruises along the coast of the famed North Shore, you get up-close aerial views of the surfers at Banzai Pipeline and Waimea Bay. Finally, you’ll fly over the “The Pineapple Sea” at the Dole Plantation and slowly pass over Pearl Harbor and the USS Arizona Memorial to conclude your helicopter tour of the royal O'ahu skies.

Can We Bring A Camera? Best Camera Lens?

Cameras are recommended! Our tours offer some of the most unique photo-taking opportunities anywhere on the planet. If you desire, your pilot will create a video of your actual flight utilizing our camera system which includes a cabin camera and nose camera (sold separately).
Does The Wind Affect The Helicopter?

Helicopters, unlike planes, have no fixed wings. The main rotors function as a gyro and stabilize the helicopter in gusty conditions. If wind and gusts are such that they will cause an uncomfortable flight, tours will be canceled. Your safety and comfort are our #1 concern.
What Is Your Policy With Weather?

We fly when it is safe and enjoyable; if the pilot feels that we will not provide a good quality tour, the tour will be canceled. We will reschedule based on availability or cancel if a guest is unable to reschedule.
Are There Restrooms On The Helicopter?

No, helicopters are not equipped with restrooms. We do provide restroom facilities at each of our departure/landing sites.

How Experienced Are Your Pilots?

We are proud to provide our guests with some of the most experienced pilots in the islands. Each of our pilots receives extensive company and factory training.
What Should I Wear? Will I Be Comfortable?

The temperature aboard the helicopter is very comfortable during flights-t-shirts and shorts are just fine. However, if you choose a doors-off tour, your flight will be windy and cold so jackets and/or sweatshirts are required, and long pants are recommended. Closed-toed shoes are also necessary for doors-off tours. Please note that hats are not allowed onboard your flight. Your hat might blow off your head and fly up into the rotors, which is very unsafe. You may leave any hats in the office during our flight. Lastly, a hair tie is required for anyone with long hair to put up your hair so you don’t get what we call “helicopter hair,” afterward!
How Many People Can A Helicopter Hold? How Is The Seating Done? Can I Sit Up Front?

Our fleet of helicopters accommodates up to six passengers plus your pilot. The weight & balance of the helicopter is computer generated and insures proper seat assignment. This system is used to equally distribute the weight, ensuring the pilot a level and safe flying platform. Both fore/aft and lateral balance are considered along with the overall total weight of the helicopter. There are two seats to the left of the pilot and four seats directly behind. Our helicopters are made for touring, so each seat provides an excellent view for all passengers. Special requests for certain seats will be granted if allowed by our weight and balance system.
Does this tour include sights of the rainforest and waterfalls?

Yes, this tour includes all of that and more. You will spend almost 60 minutes in the air, seeing some of the most beautiful rainforest and waterfall sights that O'ahu has to offer.
