A highlight of this unforgettable submarine adventure is the opportunity to explore the famous Carthaginian, a replica of a 19th-century supply vessel resting on the ocean floor. Over time, it has evolved into a self-sustaining marine habitat and world-famous dive site, offering a fascinating glimpse into Maui’s underwater history and thriving marine ecosystem.
Experience Maui’s vibrant coral reefs and rich marine life both during the dive and along the journey. From December through May, guests may also be treated to the unforgettable sight of humpback whales during the scenic boat transfer between shore and submarine.

Travel in air-conditioned comfort aboard the world’s first and most advanced 48-passenger submarine, featuring large viewing ports and comfortable seating. During the 45–50 minute submarine dive, you’ll explore Maui’s vibrant coral reefs, tropical fish, and diverse marine life, including the famous sunken ship Carthaginian, now a thriving artificial reef. The total tour duration is approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes, including the shuttle boat transfer from Lahaina Harbor.
Please arrive at the Prison Street parking lot at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled tour time for check-in and escort to the harbor. Reservations are highly recommended—don’t miss this unforgettable underwater adventure in Maui!

Guests are required to park at the Prison Street parking lot (GPS address: 116 Prison Street, Lahaina, HI 96761) and arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled tour time for check-in.
Any request for a refund 72 hours or more prior to the start of the tour or activity is honored with a full refund.
No refunds are issued for any cancellations inside the 72-hour period, prior to the start of your tour. There is no refund for no-shows. There is no charge for date change or tour change based on tour availability outside of the 72-hour cancellation period.
