Begin your day of exploration with a pickup from your hotel or condo on Kaua‘i for a drive out to Waimea Canyon and the South coast of Kaua‘i. The Grand Canyon of the Pacific is the ultimate destination on the island and the central location of the day's adventure. This amazing geological feature is over 3000ʻ deep, 10 miles long and a mile across. One of the largest, most dramatic canyons in Hawai‘i. The sheer scale of this canyon is a monument to the geological power that carved these islands out of the water in the first place.

Drive through historic towns and visit Spouting Horn Blowhole along the Southern Coast as well. The day is spent enjoying scenic overlooks, unique historical sites, natural phenomenon and listening to wonderful stories that your guide will share.

Return to your hotel at about 5:30 pm after a full, satisfying day immersed in Kauai's history and beauty. The Garden Isle is one of the most beautiful in the world, and we make it easy to come out and see its beauty for yourself.

This tour can be done from Oahu with pickup at the airport by your Kauai guide but it will need to be set up as a private excursion at this time. Please contact us to set up your excursion. You can also add on to your ground tour with a helicopter adventure as well.
How Many Guests Are Normally On This Tour?

This tour is a larger group tour with guest numbers up to 52 people in a full motor coach. The standard group size is about 24 people. The size of the vehicle used for the tour will depend on the number of guests booked for that day.
Do You Do Hotel Pick Up And Drop Off In Princeville?

The closest pickup location for this tour is in the town of Kapaa. You will need to meet the guide at the Outrigger Resort on the East side of the island at about 7:30 am. There are no North Shore pickups so give yourself about 35 minutes to drive to the tour check-in location.
Does this tour include visiting any waterfalls?

This tour does include stops where you can see waterfalls. Including on the Wailua River and in Waimea Canyon itself. When you reach Kokee Lookout, you may see various waterfalls coming off the valley below.
Can people who use a mobility scooter take the tour to the canyon?

There is limited access for scooters and wheelchairs on this tour. You or another member of the party must be able to lift and store the scooter in our vehicle. You must also be able to step up into our vehicle.
