The Helicopter
For this incredible helicopter tour, we use the American Eurocopter ASTAR aircraft. This powerful chopper is ideal for sightseeing with its air conditioning system, roomy and comfortable cabin, leather seats, digital stereo music system, and noise-reducing headsets. All passengers have unobstructed 180-degree views from every seat while they enjoy a smooth and comfortable ride. The MultiVision video system also allows us to capture all the great sites of your tour in HD on a USB flash drive along with your pilot’s narrations and background music.
The West Maui Mountains
The West Maui Mountains are among the most spectacular of Hawaii’s many mountain ranges. Located on the west coast of the Hawaiian island of Maui, these majestic peaks stretch all across Maui’s west side and are known for their striking silhouette and lush green foliage. The highest peak in the range is Puu Kukui, which stands at 5,788 feet. This towering mountain offers an incredible shift in elevation that looks amazing from any angle, but especially from the window of a helicopter where you can really take it in. There are also numerous waterfalls and streams located within the range, including Waihee Falls and Iao Stream.
Molokai
Molokai is a stunningly beautiful and serene Hawaiian island located in the central Pacific Ocean. It is the fifth-largest of the main Hawaiian Islands and one of the most isolated islands in the world. The land area on Molokai is nearly 239 square miles and it has a population of roughly 7,345 people. The land is mostly undeveloped and remains as it has been for centuries, with deep valleys and iconic sea cliffs.
