Originally, FireKnife dancing involved the skilled manipulation of knives, serving as both a display of prowess and a symbol of intimidation. Brave warriors would perform a rhythmic, battle-esque dance, showcasing their knife-wielding skills. Remarkably, these dances often took place on the eve of a battle.
In 1946, the element of fire was incorporated into this tradition. Uluao "Freddie" Letuli, a talented Samoan American dancer, brought a new twist to the dance. Harnessing his Hollywood experience and live performances, Freddie dazzled the audience by wrapping his swords and knives in gasoline-soaked towels, igniting them in a breathtaking display. The spectacle excited audiences and soon knife dancers nationwide began incorporating fire into their own acts.

Cancel up to 7 days before the Experience start time for a full refund, or within 24 hours of booking as long as the booking is made more than 48 hours before the start time.
No refunds are issued for any cancellations inside the 72-hour period prior to the start of your tour. There is no refund for no-shows. There is no charge for a date change or tour change based on tour availability outside of the 72-hour cancellation period.
