The vast expanse of sights and sounds that make O‘ahu so beloved as a destination are all best enjoyed on horseback. Get out into the beautiful open air to explore the trails and memorable locations of this beautiful island, all while getting to ride atop a majestic horse. Come and watch the sunset during your ride, or join us for a mid-ride picnic. We have all kinds of options for you to pick between for your horseback ride, and we guarantee that all of them are well worth experiencing for yourself.

Please try to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your start time so that we can get you properly situated and so that we can be sure that we are able to leave on time. Arriving early also lets you spend more time seeing Gunstock Ranch itself, which is a treat on its own. Be sure to wear reef-safe sunscreen, and we heavily recommend a hat or sunglasses so that the sun doesn’t get in your eyes during your ride.

Is there an age restriction?

Yes, with some differences between the different riding options. Check the top of the page for details, but all riders must be at least 7 years of age to ride most of the trails, and 12 or older for the advanced ride.
Do I need to bring anything?

Reef-safe sunscreen is a must, and we recommend a hat or sunglasses so you don’t have any issues with the sun preventing you from seeing the beautiful trails.
Is there a weight limit?

For safety reasons, yes. 235lbs is the max weight for all rides except for the advanced ride, where it is 220lbs.
