The ocean surrounding Maui is diverse and abundant with coral reefs, tropical fish, and a variety of different sea life. Green Sea Turtles, Manta Rays, dolphins and exotic fish are just a few of the wonderful creatures you will see on this sailing and snorkel adventure. From several varieties of wrasse to Butterflyfish and Tang, you will swim with literally hundreds of fascinating tropical fish. You might even see a moray eel or two! Keep your eyes peeled for Hawaii’s state fish, the Reef Triggerfish (Humuhumunukanukaapua'a ). Humuhumunukanukaapua'a means "triggerfish with a snout like a pig. They’re pretty shy, but with their bright, distinctive coloring, they are easy to spot.

Experience Performance Sailing

The ancestors of the Hawaiian people were expert navigators who journeyed across the vast Pacific Ocean in double-hulled sailing canoes called wa’a kaulua. These vessels, which inspired today's catamarans, had two parallel hulls joined by wooden beams and a central platform. Modern catamarans, built with lightweight fiberglass hulls and high-performance sails, began to evolve over the years into the performance vessels you see today. These boats are faster, more stable, and more comfortable than their predecessors, making them ideally suited for recreational sailing and visitors.

Any request for a refund 72 hours or more prior to the start of the tour or activity is honored with a full refund.

No refunds are issued for any cancellations inside the 72-hour period, prior to the start of your tour. There is no refund for no-shows. There is no charge for date change or tour change based on tour availability outside of the 72-hour cancellation period.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I wear a full face mask?

We don’t allow full face masks on any of our snorkel excursions. You cannot communicate with our crew. The masks often leak or fog up. And full face masks have been known to restrict your breathing.
Will we see dolphins?

We frequently see dolphins, especially on our Lana’i trip, however, dolphins are wild animals and while we will do our best, we can never guarantee that you will see them or any other wild marine life.
Will we go to more than one snorkel site?

We go to one snorkel site per trip, although you will also have the option to snorkel from Hulopo’e Beach on our Lana’i trip. We specialize in performance sailing, so rather than motoring around to multiple spots, we’ll hit our favorite and then go for an exhilarating sail.
Can you accommodate special diets?

We can provide vegetarian or gluten free options, although people with severe nut allergies or who have celiac disease should be aware that we cannot guarantee there has been no cross contamination.
