Lessons are held all days.
All lessons are 2 hours long and begin at 7 a.m., 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m.

Cancellation

Any request for a refund 72 hours or more prior to the start of the tour or activity is honored with a full cash refund.

No refunds are issued for any cancellations inside the 72-hour period, prior to the start of your tour. There is no refund for no-shows. There is no charge for date change or tour change based on tour availability outside of the 72-hour cancellation period.

Is it Possible to Book a Large Group Lesson?

Large groups can be accommodated if the staff and equipment are available during the desired timeframe. Please contact Kahalu'u Bay Surf and Sea directly to arrange your event.
Do I Have to Have Previous Surfing Experience?

All surfers must be able to swim. Otherwise, no previous experience is necessary for this lesson. We accommodate all skill levels, including first-time surfers as well as those who want to refresh and practice their skills.
What Should I Bring to the Lesson?

Guest should bring a swimsuit and a towel. Surfboards, rash guards, and booties are provided to all guests, though those who book private lessons may bring their own board. It is also recommended to apply reef-safe sunscreen half an hour before getting in the water.
