Kahalu’u Bay is the perfect place to learn to surf. The water is calm and the waves are gentle, making it an ideal spot for beginners. With a 2:1 ratio of students to instructors, you and your friend will receive personal attention and plenty of opportunities to practice your new skills. Before you paddle out, you’ll receive a 10-minute classroom tutorial to get you geared up, prepped, and warmed up for the real waves. You’ll learn the basics of everything you need to know about surfing, from paddling and popping up to reading the waves and riding them. By the end of the lesson, you’ll be confident in your abilities and ready to take on Hawai’i’s amazing waves.

Two (2) persons aged 10+ are required for this class option. Must book in pairs.
Students aged 3-9 must select PRIVATE CHILD SURF LESSONS
The maximum board weight capacity is 265 lbs. Students over weight capacity must select: PRIVATE SURF for equipment upgrade and 1-on-1 setting.
STUDENTS MUST BE ABLE TO SWIM AND PARTICIPATE IN PHYSICAL ACTIVITY.
PARENTS/GUARDIANS NOT SURFING MUST REMAIN ON LOCATION TO ACCOMPANY THEIR MINOR CHILDREN.
