Pearl Harbor and USS Missouri Tour Features
Pearl Harbor Visitor Center
Your USS Arizona Memorial tour will start at the Visitor Center. Spend some time browsing through informative displays and exhibits where you’ll learn more about the events that propelled the U.S. into WWII. The expansive grounds have interpretive signs, displays and memorials all along a walkway at the water’s edge.
Multiple pathways lead visitors through stories about Pearl Harbor from ancient Hawaiian times, through WWII, to world events and into today. You can also grab a bite to eat at the food vendors and relax at the snack areas of the Visitor Center.
USS Arizona Memorial
Begin your trip to the Arizona Memorial by watching an informative documentary film about the Japanese attack with before, during and after photos and film footage of that fateful day and the events that led up to it. The boat ride to the memorial is just a few minutes long, making it a convenient trip. The memorial was built over the remains of the sunken battleship allowing visitors to honor and reflect on the heroes of that “Day of Infamy”.
Read the names etched into the white marble wall listing all 1,177 Sailors and Marines who died that day on the USS Arizona. Keep an eye out for the “Black Tears” of oil on the surface that leak from the Arizona’s hull to this day.
Battleship Missouri
The next stop on your adventure is a one-hour guided tour of the battleship USS Missouri. Towering some 8 stories high above it’s berth at Battleship Row on Ford Island, this mighty battleship stands as a reminder of the industrial might America mobilized for its ultimate victory against the Japanese in the Pacific.
Admire the impressive armaments of the “Mighty Mo” while walking the decks. On the deck visitors can stand at the exact spot where the Japanese signed the Instrument of Surrender on September 2, 1945. Explore the tight hallways, cramped crews quarters and impressive displays of war rooms and battle maps deep in the interior of the ship. It’s an amazing look back into military life at sea during World War II!
Punchbowl And Historic Honolulu
As part of our tour day, we take a trip around historic Honolulu, making stops at various overlooks and points of interest. Our tour drives us through the Punchbowl Cemetery, located in a crater near downtown. We then make our way past a number of historic and culturally important statues including one of King Kamehameha the Great, which stands 18 feet tall in front of the state supreme court building across from the only royal palace in the United States.

Description
The awe-inspiring and history of Pearl Harbor makes this tour a “must see” part of any Hawai'i vacation. The tour includes all airfare, transportation and entrance fees necessary to experience the Arizona Memorial and the USS Missouri battleship at Pearl Harbor. All outer island flights to Honolulu are less than 1 hour and you will be greeted at the airport by our friendly tour guides. We will transport you in our air-conditioned tour vehicles to Pearl Harbor while our guides provide expert narration into the historical locations you’ll see throughout the day.
Because you're visiting Pearl Harbor with us, you’ll skip the long ticket lines once we arrive, giving you 4 ½ hours to explore the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center, the USS Arizona Memorial and the USS Missouri Battleship Museum.
Afterwards, our expert guides will continue your tour in our custom tour vehicles to Punchbowl National Cemetery where various monuments and displays tell the story of those lost in defending their nation. We’ll continue to historic Honolulu's locations and buildings, including 'Iolani Palace, the King Kamehameha Statue, and the "Hawaii 5-O Headquarters", the Supreme Court Building. We will drive by many places and stop at the statue in the center of it all. From there your guide will return you to the airport for your 30-40-minute flight back to the neighbor islands. Choose to add on guided transportation from your accommodations to the airport as part of your tour. This is a great day trip to O'ahu.
*Note: Infrequently, due to circumstances beyond our control, the Navy may suspend boat operations to the USS Arizona Memorial, or they may need to restrict boat capacity. In these cases, we may place you in a standby line. We cannot offer refunds in this situation and apologize in advance should this occur. You would still be able to visit the exhibits, the Visitors’ Center, and other park monuments.
