Take a fascinating journey with us on our 30-foot rugged ocean raft for a unique Whale Watching experience off the coast of O'ahu! The majestic humpback whales migrate to the Hawaiian waters annually during the months of December through April for mating and birthing. Even though whales are protected in Hawai'i, and we strictly respect federal regulations of not approaching them too closely, it's common for these gigantic creatures to come closer to our compact rafts, providing a closer and eye-level encounter.
The annual winter migration of whales to the Hawaiian Islands and their activities here has been recorded by Hawaiians over countless generations. Environmental experts estimate that more than half of the humpback whale population in the North Pacific takes refuge in Hawai'i during winter. It is projected that at the height of the humpback whale season in February, roughly 10,000 to 12,000 whales make their way to the Hawaiian islands yearly!

Bring sunglasses, reef-safe sunscreen, and dress appropriately, this ride can get wet!
Meet us at our Ala Wai Harbor loading dock using Google or Apple Maps to navigate (please do not use the street address): See location
Free and paid parking is available, or you can walk from nearby hotels like Hilton Hawaiian Village, Ilikai, Prince, and The Modern. Please beware of No Parking signs so that you do not get towed.

Cancellation

Any request for a refund 72 hours or more prior to the start of the tour or activity is honored with a full refund.

No refunds are issued for any cancellations inside the 72-hour period, prior to the start of your tour. There is no refund for no-shows. There is no charge for date change or tour change based on tour availability outside of the 72-hour cancellation period.

What should I wear?

We recommend dressing like you are going to the beach. There is a little shade on the boat, but you will be out in the open most of the time. Sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat that won’t blow off are all very good ideas!
What should I bring?

Swimwear, towels, sunscreen, and maybe a jacket for the cool mornings. You can bring your own food and drinks if you want. We provide a cooler onboard.
Can you accommodate guests with special needs?

Usually, yes! While certain mobility limitations may make a ride on this type of boat difficult, we have been able to accommodate a variety of unique situations. The private nature of our tours means that the entire experience is tailored to you and your party. No strangers, no crowds, and no fixed itineraries to follow.
