Skip the lines that often make flying so miserable, and have easy parking at the small commuter terminal right next to the main airport terminal. These small planes fly slower and lower so you have some time to check out the world below too, letting you really enjoy a view that otherwise would be little more than a fleeting glimpse.

You will not leave Maui feeling anything but ecstatic with this tour, as it provides a rich, local experience with plenty of time at each stop. Most Hāna tours will have about 4 hours of stops on the day-long sightseeing tour. This tour has almost 6-hours of stops, a full two extra hours of exploring this beautiful area!
We start with pickup at the commuter terminal at Kahului Airport where you will meet your tour guide for the day. (Guests can add-on transportation from your hotel to Kahului.) The first stop after a brief introduction to the surf town of Pā'ia is to visit a beautiful beach that hosts epic surfers and Hawai‘ian green sea turtles. You are going to love it!
The tour continues with stops for a local breakfast at a wonderful location (purchased on your own), at rainforest and ocean overlooks as well as cliffside parks before heading down to Ke‘anae Peninsula to try some iconic banana bread. We will pass by numerous waterfalls, a bamboo forest, and iconic little village scenes.
Your guide will entertain you throughout the drive with stories about the people, land, and history. Their connections to the land will make you feel closer to the aina (land). You will love your day with your guide who will share all the island has to offer plus a lot of aloha.
On the way to Hāna, get the opportunity to stop for a rainforest waterfall pool swim. Once you are refreshed and gotten all the pictures of beautiful waterfalls that you could want, we will head into Hāna town to visit some numerous color beaches, enjoy some great food, and do a little exploring of the town.
After all of this, the next stop is a small airport at Hana for your return flight to Kahului. This 20-minute flight on a small plane where each seat gets a window, follows the coast, flying low so you can see all the beauty in amazing details. The afternoon flight will provide a beautiful scene as you land in Kahului a short while later. (Your guide will still be driving back from Hana when you return on the plane.)
We may change the schedule due to availability and your guide will pick you up in Hāna after a morning flight, doing the tour in reverse.

Depending on the tour schedule, your guide will have several options for lunch in Hāna to satisfy the group. We believe in supporting the communities directly, allowing you to choose and purchase your meals directly.
Meals, snacks, treats, drinks and takeaway items can be purchased throughout the day. We make stops for banana bread, local fruit, and sometimes even ice cream.
Breakfast must be pre-ordered if the tour is in the morning. The guide will reach out to you to confirm a menu choice (hot island-style breakfast options).
Cold drinks will be available in the vehicle throughout the day. Please bring your reusable water bottle as we do have water refills throughout the day.
If you need to cancel your tour, please do so 72 hours prior to the tour starting for a full refund. If you are within 72 hours, there is no refund.
