Leisurely paddle in calm waters
Class designed for all levels
Paddleboarding is a great way to enjoy the outdoors and get some exercise, but it’s important to paddle safely. That’s why we spend time discussing important safety considerations at the beginning of our paddleboard classes. We want everyone to have a fun, safe experience.
We also teach you an efficient forward stroke, as well as how to stop and turn the board, so you can paddle with confidence. Mornings are an ideal time to paddle because the winds are generally light, and it’s the best time to spot turtles as we paddle along! You may even want to pair this class with an Oahu SUP yoga class at 9 a.m. to get the full Hawaiian experience.
The exercise alone (not to mention the beautiful nature or other SUP-related factors) is known to reduce anxiety, depression, and tension – and uplift mood and motivation. Whatever you decide, we’ll make sure you have a paddleboarding adventure that you’ll never forget!
*Please check in 10-15 minutes before class begins. You may not join the class if you are more than 5 minutes late.

We will notify you via phone or email 30 minutes prior to class in the event of a cancellation.
Stand-up paddle boarding (SUP) is a great option for those looking for a workout with low impact and plenty of benefits. SUP is excellent for core strength, as the body’s core muscles are responsible for keeping balance. But legs and feet-muscles are also getting busy and stronger. Of course, arms and shoulders will get a major workout. In addition to being a great way to build strength, SUP also provides excellent cardio training. No matter if you paddle hard or just gently moving, paddling will benefit your heart, lungs, overall health, and stamina. And compared to other outdoorsy cardio exercise like running, SUP is much easier on the joints.
Paddle boarding is not only a great workout, but it can also do wonders for your mental health. The exercise alone is known to reduce anxiety, depression, and tension – and uplift mood and motivation. In addition, paddle boarding can help improve cognitive abilities by “waking up the brain” and reducing distracting stress and anxiety. Furthermore, new studies have found a direct connection between being active and a protein that “rejuvenates the brain” – helping with memory and focus. And if that wasn’t enough, paddle boarding can also boost self-esteem, confidence, and sense of independence. You don’t need anyone else to go paddle boarding, and there’s no need for competition with anyone else.
If you’re looking for a way to relax and clear your mind, paddle boarding may be the perfect activity for you. Unlike other forms of meditation, paddle boarding keeps your subconscious busy enough to actually quiet your monkey-brain chatter. This can help you bring calm and balance into your life – or it can help you focus on something you need to figure out. In addition, paddle boarding is a great way to connect with nature. Being in nature has been shown to reduce stress, improve moods, and make people feel more well-rounded and happier. Whether you’re looking to relax or just enjoy some time outdoors, paddle boarding is a great option.
