The Area

Waikoloa is situated 45 minutes north of Kona, and about 2 hours from Volcanoes National Park. Within a short drive you will be able to visit picturesque beaches, Kona coffee farms, macadamia nut farms, and many other attractions that will allow you to connect with the natural beauty of the Big Island. Within a 2-hour drive, you can be at Volcanoes National Park on the Hilo side of the Big Island. Explore active volcanoes, massive lava tubes, and the breathtaking scenery. The possibilities are endless for sightseeing drives and as you will soon discover this island really is big.

Depending on the length of your stay, you could spend a couple of days just exploring the huge mountains and volcanoes of the Big Island. If you are pressed for time and want to see as much of the island as possible you could take a circle island helicopter tour. The Pool

The Hilton Waikoloa Village is unique because it features both a natural saltwater lagoon as well as a huge pool with a 175-foot water slide. Inside of the saltwater lagoon guests can frolic in the shallow water and look for turtles. You can also upgrade your poolside experience even further by opting to rent a private cabana for the day.

There is a wide array of dining options to enjoy at the Hilton Waikoloa Village. For breakfast, you have Nui where you can indulge in a sit-down breakfast or grab-and-go if you are in a hurry. Lunch options include either the Lagoon Grill or the Orchid Marketplace with both feature hearty options and fresh local ingredients.
