No snorkeling experience needed, and our experts will help everyone get comfortable in the water. If one of your party isn’t comfortable getting in the water, they can come along just for the ride – and to capture some amazing pictures.

In Hawaiian religion, Kamohoaliʻi is a shark god and a brother of Kāne Milohaʻi, Pele, Kapo, Nāmaka, and Hiʻiaka. Kamohoaliʻi swam in the area around the islands of Maui and Kahoolawe. To Hawaiians, mano (Sharks) are considered ʻaumakua (family or personal gods.) Often, a departed ancestor took the form of a shark after death and appeared in dreams to living relatives. In ancient times, every part of a shark was used, from its skin to its teeth, to make traditional instruments and weapons. The mana or energy of the shark was believed to live on in these items.
