Description

This hiking tour begins with pickup right at your accommodation. This small group luxury hiking tour has a maximum of 8 guests and a personal guide that will drive you in a spacious and comfortable platinum mini-bus.

We take a short break for a continental breakfast as we begin our trip on the road to Hana. We make several overlook stops to see waterfalls, rainforest trees and flowers, incredible ocean and cliff views, and cultural and local points of interest.

In the Ke‘anae area, we will stop at a local family stand and enjoy the hospitality of a Hawai‘ian family while you tour their small farm. We'll enjoy a snack of their famous banana bread and other treats as we prepare for a hike through the ohanaʻs aina (family land).

The short but beautiful hike crisscrosses a small stream as we make our way up to an exclusive waterfall and pool just for our use. Enjoy exploring the area with your local guide - swimming and jumping into the deep, clear pool.

Afterward, we hike out of the rainforest and stop by the family stand for a treat of a smoothie, coffee, or another snack before we make our way back down the road to Hana.

This full-day adventure brings you back to your hotel or accommodation in South or West Maui. It's an incredible day when all your bucket list items are checked off! This tour includes cold drinks and water. Towels are included. Just bring your bathing suit.

Please dress for all weather. A light jacket and closed-toe shoes are recommended.
We also encourage you to bring your water bottle, plenty of reef-safe sunscreen, and cash to spend at various roadside stands where we will stop.

Any request for a refund 72 hours or more prior to the start of the tour or activity is honored with a full refund.

No refunds are issued for any cancellations inside the 72-hour period, prior to the start of your tour. There is no refund for no-shows. There is no charge for date change or tour change based on tour availability outside of the 72-hour cancellation period.

How Big Of A Group Can We Handle?

No group is too large for us to organize a private tour for. Our biggest vehicles are 24-passenger minibusses, so your group will be split across multiple vehicles. For even larger groups, we will work with one of our transportation providers so you get the best experience possible. We specialize in groups under 12 and provide tours using our Minivans and Mercedes Sprinter vans.
I Want To Do The Road To Hana, How Many Hours Is That?

The Road to Hana takes about 10 hours to make the circle if you make a lot of stops for only a little bit of time. We recommend adding more time at checkout if you are planning to hit a number of places like the caves or botanical gardens. You don't want to rush to some of these places. The tour starts on pickup so if your tour starts in Kapalua, be prepared for a 12-hour day.
