ULTIMATE KAUAI HELICOPTER TOUR
Fly Over the Spectacular Landscape of Kauai
This tour of the incredibly beautiful island of Kauai allows you to journey to areas of the island that are completely unreachable by foot. During the 50-55 minute helicopter tour, enjoy a choreographed soundtrack and narration through your BOSE stereophonic (noise-canceling) headphones while you look down upon selected areas across Kauai. You fly out of the Lihue airport in a luxuriously equipped ECO STAR helicopter complete with air conditioning and wide bubble windows on this journey of a lifetime.
The Ultimate Kauai Adventure makes a perfect first tour for any newcomer to the island of Kauai and is a favorite among children and teens, who will enjoy the choreographed audio and amazing views packed into a focused hour-long excursion.
Fly along the Na Pali Coast, a famously wild and wondrous coastline environment, equally split between massive cliffs and turquoise waters. The Na Pali Coast is famous for its hiking trails, visible from the air as they meander around the precipitous mountainsides. You’ll probably notice many shimmering rainbows as you look down at the Na Pali area. These are caused by the torrential rainfalls, mist, and condensation in this incredibly wet coastal area that gets about forty feet of rain every year.
The deep chasm of Waimea Canyon stretches for 10 miles from the interior of the island to the sea. At around 3,500 ft deep, the canyon has numerous waterfalls and micro climates that are nearly impossible to see except from the air. The red layers of earth mix with the tropical forests, all of it sculpted from the dormant shield volcano that created the island some 5 million years ago.
Over 70% of Kauai is inaccessible by land, meaning it is best seen from the air. You’ll see Manawaiopuna Falls, also known as “Jurassic Park” falls, cascading high in a wedge between the mountaintops of Hanapepe Valley. We’ll also fly along Kauai’s stunning north shore, home to the turquoise waters of Hanalei Bay and the resort areas of Princeville. Finally, weather permitting, we’ll fly to Mt Wai’ale’ale, the highest point of the island and the second wettest place on earth! 3000’ waterfalls and mist covered rainforests make for a spectacular finish to this amazing hour long flight covering the entire island!
At the conclusion of your memorable flight, you can choose to purchase the on-board pilot-narrated video to take home to share with all your friends and family. The most incredible experience in the air, overlooking Hawaii’s beauty.

Set off on your Ultimate Kauai Adventure with an ariel look into the mouth of Waialeale Crater. This verdant, gaping volcanic landscape was initially the sight of the fiery, explosive volcanic activity from which the Hawaiian islands originated. Now famously one of the wettest places on earth, torrential rains flow over the cliff sides creating several dramatic, shimmering waterfalls. Swoop alongside these falls in the dry comfort of the helicopter, enabling you to see each hidden gem, unreachable by foot. Continue your flight over Alakai Swamp, home to rare tropical plants and animal species, many of which are only found in the island chain. This extensive wetland system they call home is formed from the rainwater runoff of Waialeale Mountain. From the mountains, you’ll head makai, toward the ocean, where the stunning, picture-perfect beauty of the Na Pali Coasts’ sharp, lush peaks and untouched beaches will leave you awestruck. Your tour includes live narration by a State of Hawaii Certified Tour Guide, sharing local insight and geological information about all the breathtaking sights below.
