Volcano Adventure Tour Features
A typical itinerary includes:
A visit to Rainbow Falls, where on a normal sunny day you will see rainbows hover over the waterfall. Then we will take Banyan Drive, where rows of Banyan trees planted by – and in memory of – some very famous people. Babe Ruth and President Nixon are just two of the names you’ll recognize.
Queen Liliuokalani Gardens
A must see is Queen Liliuokalani Gardens – you will marvel at the beauty of the largest Japanese-style gardens outside of Tokyo. Then, dip your toes in the water at Richardson Beach Park – A unique black sand beach in Hilo area. Sometimes you will see the turtles swimming in in the water!
We will visit the original King Kamehameha Statue where you can take a photo of Kamehameha the Great. And finally, we head to Volcanoes National Park to visit the still-erupting caldera of Kilauea. Experience the heat rising from ground where Pele inundated the area with molten lava.
