Passing the Waikiki skyline as it basks in the evening light, you’ll fly to the top of iconic Diamond Head and watch as the sun casts a golden light around Oahu. Enjoy spectacular views as the sun sinks below the horizon, silhouetting the expansive city skyline against a rainbow of colors.

This helicopter tour is available as a Doors On and Doors Off version. Doors On means the flight will be with closed doors. Doors Off means there will be no doors in the way of your viewing pleasure. Sights include Honolulu Harbor, Aloha Tower, Diamond Head, the Banzai Pipeline and Waimea Bay. We will do a slow pass over Pearl Harbor, finishing with the Waikiki skyline as the sun goes down.

Start off from Honolulu for an expansive view of the city below, then fly around Diamond Head as the light starts to fade. A vista of spectacular Hanauma Bay gives way to jagged volcanic cliffs, and you will see the Makapuu lighthouse casting its red beam of light toward sailors at sea. Continuing up the picturesque Windward Coast, you will see the evening light color the beaches and sandbars to the mountains, smaller islands, and Chinaman’s Hat.
Soaring from sea to rainforest, the majestic Ka’a’awa Valley will unfold below. We fly in close to see the impressive streams of Sacred Falls tumble to the lush rainforest below. With a few turns, we soar out of the valley and above the surfers at Banzai Pipeline and Waimea Bay. Heading inland, you’ll fly over “The Pineapple Sea” at the Dole Plantation. As the sun nears the horizon and the blue sky fades, your flight continues to Pearl Harbor for a solemn pass above the USS Arizona Memorial. To complete your day, we fly back toward the city and witness the waning sun light the sky on fire, silhouetting Waikiki in a spectacular evening show.
