The Waikiki coastline is famous for its beauty, especially when the sun sinks low and casts the water and nearby beaches in the last of its reddening light. When the day turns to twilight, the skyline becomes dotted with the lights of the city, mingling with the stars overhead. Greet the end of the day with a gentle sail over glittering waters and watch the sun slowly sink low. Keep an eye open. A coastline like this is one of the few places where you can witness a rare event. Sometimes, when the sun finally sets, the last trace of light that can reach you stretches so far across the atmosphere that the tip of the sun briefly appears as a green flash. Keep you eyes open for it, and enjoy the sail while you do.
All guests should plan to be at Kewalo Basin at 1125 Ala Moana Blvd, Slip A-0 by 5:15pm for check-in. From there the vessel will depart at 5:30 to begin the journey out towards the ocean. Enjoy the cool breeze and light salt spray on this relaxing cruise out to the ideal sunset viewing area. Pupus (Appetizers) will be served while guests lounge on the deck of the 39 foot catamaran. Drinks are not provided as part of this tour, but guests are welcome to bring their own cold or hot beverages. The vessel will be crewed by attentive staff who will be able to help you with anything you may need. Return time is expected to be after the sunset around 7:30pm.
