We offer a paddling lesson beforehand so that you can learn the basics of SUP, then it’s time for a yoga class. This experience is suitable for all levels, no experience necessary. So come out and join us! You’re sure to have a fun and relaxing time.
Imagine being in nature, surrounded by the sound of the waves and the smell of the salty ocean air. The sun is shining, and the water is calm. You step onto your paddleboard, careful to maintain your balance. And then you begin your yoga flow, moving through sun salutations and various standing poses. As you move through the poses, you focus on your breath and the connection between your body and the board. The challenge of maintaining your balance while performing yoga poses adds an extra level of difficulty (and fun!) to your practice. Not to mention, you’re getting a great workout for both your body and your mind.
Paddleboarding is a great workout for your whole body. And, once you get the hang of it, paddleboarding is actually quite easy! This class is perfect for anyone who has never stepped on a paddle board, as well as anyone with SUP experience. SUP is a fun and unique way to enjoy the water. Because you stand at full height on your paddleboard, you have a completely different perspective of your surroundings. You can see things in the water that you would never be able to see from the shore, and you can admire the beauty of the horizon.
Stand up paddle boarding and yoga may at first seem like an odd pairing. But, paddleboarders who enjoy doing yoga on the water say there are many benefits to the practice. In addition to having fun with friends or experiencing some quiet solitude on the water, paddleboarders say doing yoga on a SUP engages muscles that you may neglect during your on-land practice. The added challenge of doing yoga on a wobbly board will force you to be very present and intentional with all your movements. And what could be more refreshing than enjoying a downward dog with the cool water lapping at your toes?

We start the session with a brief introduction on the beach, discussing important safety precautions and proper paddle technique so you can feel confident and comfortable on the water. We anchor the boards in waist-deep water and enjoy a playful yoga flow class. We challenge ourselves with balance poses and strengthening postures while experiencing yoga in a beautiful natural setting.
Morning is the perfect time to spot turtles and enjoy the golden morning light on the water.
This class is also designed for all levels, especially beginners. We anchor the boards in waist-deep water and enjoy a playful yoga flow class. We challenge ourselves with balance poses and strengthening postures while experiencing yoga in a beautiful natural setting. The class will end with traditional savasana, a relaxing meditation with the soft rocking of the ocean’s waves, fingers and toes trailing into the water, and the mind free to relax and let go.

We require 4 hours’ notice if you wish to reschedule or cancel your class with a full refund. Cancellations made less than 4 hours prior will not be rescheduled or refunded at all.
Reimbursements will not be given for no-shows, nor for customers who are more than 5 minutes late to class.
Classes run rain or shine, however, in the event of unsafe water conditions (heavy rain, high winds, or lightning), class will be cancelled. We will do our best to reschedule you, but if we are not able to, we will refund you fully. Refunds will be placed back onto the credit card used at time of purchase. We will notify you via phone or email 30 minutes prior to class in the event of a cancellation.
