Drive yourself to Kualoa Ranch or choose pickup in Waikiki. Transportation provided by the ranch is a round-trip service with a 7:45 to 8:15 AM pickup in Waikiki and return at 1:00, 3:30 or 5:50 PM. If you choose to do two tours please make sure the second activity will end prior to 4:30pm. Private transportation is available at checkout.

An Introduction To Kualoa Ranch

Kualoa Ranch is located on the leeward side of Oahu and contains three valleys; Kualoa, Kaʻaʻawa & Hakipuʻu. The land was a gift from the king to his doctor who used it for a variety of purposes including as a working ranch which it has been since 1850. Today, you can enjoy the rich history by exploring the movie sites, the World War II bunkers, the ranchlands, and taking part in the fun activities available on this 4000-acre private preserve.

The pristine nature of the area is what attracts visitors and filmmakers alike. The valley has been home to many fabulous creatures including King Kong. Remnants of the movie site Skull Island can still be found hidden in the landscape. A great way to explore the valley is to take the popular ATV tours. Your guide will take you up into areas only the lucky few have seen.

You can spend the whole day at the ranch and not see everything. One area that many guests miss that should be on your bucket list is a visit to Secret Island. This private beach is a great place to get away from the crowds, enjoy some water-sports and really soak in the beauty of this side of Oahu. You wonʻt be disappointed. Kualoa Ranch is open daily from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, except for Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. (subject to change)
