Tour Description

This Jurassic Valley Adventure Tour is the perfect opportunity to see some of the most iconic filming locations from the Jurassic Park films. The tour will take you to locations in Kualoa, Hakipu’u, and Ka’a’awa Valleys, including the site of the Indominus Rex paddock and the famous field where the Gallimimus were seen flocking in the first Jurassic Park movie. The Vehicles

The terrain within we will be traversing during the course of the tour is rugged, muddy, and rocky. While we don’t have the custom Jeep Wranglers seen in the first Jurassic Park film, we do have modified, safari-style Ford trucks that can conquer the rough terrain and allow you to see every point of interest on the tour with ease. Luckily, all the dinosaurs seen in the Jurassic Park franchise are confined to the big screen.

Does the weather affect the tour?

The safety of our guests is our number one priority and weather conditions are always taken into consideration. Generally, unless there are high winds or lightning, our tours go out rain or shine. Kualoa Ranch reserves the right to cancel a tour or reservation if conditions are deemed unsafe. If we do so, we will refund your money for the portion that may have been cancelled.
Are all tours guided?

Yes, all tours, activities, and experiences are guided by trained Kualoa staff.
Is transportation to the ranch included?

Transportation is available for select tours only for an additional $30 fee. When booking on Kualoa’s website, if your tour is compatible, look for the option to add-on transportation and follow the steps.
Where was Jurassic Park filmed?

Most of the original Jurassic Park film was shot on Kauai, but Kualoa Ranch on Oahu is where the iconic stampede scene took place. On Oahu, you will see the sites made famous in Jurassic Park, Jurassic World, and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, which include Hakipu’u and Ka’a’awa Valleys.
What about guests with certain health concerns?

Pregnant/expecting mothers and guests with heart conditions, spinal issues, or joint pain are not advised to participate in Jurassic Adventure Tour as the road is VERY bumpy.
Is Transportation To Kualoa Ranch Automatically Included In All The Tours?

Transportation is not included to the ranch which is about an hour outside of Waikiki. Depending on the time of your tour, there may be group transportation available from Waikiki (limited and not always available). We can arrange transportation for your group out to Kualoa and return for a fee.
What are the allowed ages for the different tours available?
- Children of all ages are allowed on the Aloha ‘Aina Tour, Hollywood Movie Sites Tour, Ocean Voyage Adventure Tour, and Secret Island Beach Activities.
- Children 3 years and older are allowed on all of the above tours as well as the Jungle Expedition Tour and Jurassic Adventure Tour.
- Children 5 years and older are allowed on all of the above tours as well as the Multi-Passenger UTV Raptor Tour and Malama Experience.
- Children 10 years and older are allowed on all of the above tours as well as the eBike Tours (as long as they meet height & weight requirements), Horseback Tours (as long as they meet height & weight requirements) and Zipline Tours (as long as they meet height & weight requirements).
