This tour takes visitors from West Side hotels up to see beaches, stop at overlooks and a blowhole, take short walks, view farms and other sites on a short, half-day tour of West Maui.
Your guide will take you on an adventure along the rugged coast of West Maui to discover a side of Maui full of impressive views and memorable locations. This whole area is uniquely situated along the northwest coast that provides expansive vistas and beaches along the way, including views of Haleakalā and the island of Molokaʻi.
While exploring this half of Maui is somewhat common for visitors to the island, your guide knows the area well and knows where all the best hidden gems are for sightseeing! Learn about this incredible area while exploring parts of it that few ever get to see.
Throughout your journey, there will be several opportunities for short stops. Take your time to get some pictures. The backdrops at the stops we will make are definitely worthy of posting to your social media or showing to your friends when you return.
From local stores to mountainside views, there is a lot to see long before you even get out of the vehicle. This part of the island gets more trade wind showers than the resort areas where most of the hotels are. This creates a windswept landscape that has dramatic views and other little marvels. See the best of West Maui during a half day tour from Ka‘anapali up to Kapalua and beyond. This is the tour that you should do on your first day on the island. We give you a great overview of the best places to shop, eat, relax and escape. Your local expert guide is open to all sorts of questions to help make your journey better. Learn to be a better visitor and respect the ʻĀina (love of the land). An amazing experience awaits you.
Your guide will greet you like an important guest at the shared pickup location around 8AM or 1PM and take you on a storytelling drive making beautiful quick stops at great locations as we head towards the North West corner of the island. Over the course of 4 hours, we will make stop at overlooks, beaches, a blowhole, local farm stands or other stops based upon the day and the group. Your guide knows what is best that day and will make the most of your vacation time. You will love them! Your guide will return you back to your hotel about 3-4 hours after pickup depending on your accommodation location.
Choose from the morning or afternoon starting times. Pickup and return to all accommodations from Ka‘anapali to Kapalua. Tour length from Kapalua (in the north) will be shorter than those from Ka‘anapali (in the south).
