See the best of West Maui during a half day tour from Kaanapali up to Kapalua and beyond. This is the tour that you should do on your first day on the island. We give you a great overview of the best places to shop, eat, relax and escape. Your local expert guide is open to all sorts of questions to help make your journey better. Learn to be a better visitor and respect the ʻĀina (love of the land). An amazing experience awaits you.

Your guide will greet you like an important guest at the shared pickup location around 8AM or 1PM and take you on a storytelling drive making beautiful quick stops at great locations as we head towards the North West corner of the island. Over the course of 4 hours, we will make stop at overlooks, beaches, a blowhole, local farm stands or other stops based upon the day and the group. Your guide knows what is best that day and will make the most of your vacation time. You will love them! Your guide will return you back to your hotel about 3-4 hours after pickup depending on your accommodation location.

Choose from the morning or afternoon starting times. Pickup and return to all accommodations from Kaanapali to Kapalua. Tour length from Kapalua (in the north) will be shorter than those from Kaanapali (in the south).

What Do We See On This Tour?

Your guide will take you from your West Maui hotel and drive along the coastline of West Maui for about 1 hour, heading north. Your guide will continue to a blowhole and then return along the same road. There is no guarantee the blowhole will be going off at that time of day. During the winter months, there will be prime spots for spotting whales.
Will We Have Time To Swim And Hang At The Beach?

There are a lot of stops and distance to cover on this sightseeing tour. Depending on the wishes of the group, the guide may be able to provide a few minutes to jump in the ocean.
How Close Can We Get To The Blowhole?

We ask our guests to view the water spout from a safe distance. There has been many deaths due to people unaware of the power and being pulled in or knocked out. Your guide will provide instructions so you can get the best views without endangering anyone.
