See lava spew from an active volcano (not guaranteed) and the effects of the continuous eruptions that have occurred here for thousands of years. Kilauea is one of the most studied and active volcanoes in the world.
Descend into the native forest of Hawaii into a hidden tunnel at the bottom of a ravine after a winding path. You will love every aspect of this stop. Head all the way through the tunnel and pop out to the sounds of the forest birds.
One of the most southern-most places in the United States, this black sand beach is large with crashing waves. On most days an area is blocked off where the resting Hawaiian green sea turtles have a rest on the warm sand.
We head through different parts of the city so you can see where Kamehameha The Great moved a prophesied stone and a waterfall that catches rainbows. This historic town is full of great murals, little shops and curious parks and buildings.
