The Hotel

Designed in the old colonial style architecture of the period, the Moana Surfrider originally boasted 75 rooms and was the costliest, most elaborate, and modern hotel building in the Hawaiian Islands at the time of its opening. Over the years, the hotel has maintained its charming and luxurious atmosphere while adding options sure to please everyone. Choose from three separate wings: the charming Banyan Wing with an intimate layout spotlighting the resort’s unique history, the Tower Wing soars high above Waikiki with spacious rooms and suites, and the Diamond Wing with oceanfront or city-facing rooms with views of Kalakaua Avenue.
The new Moana Lani Spa serves up healing massages and Hawaiian therapies. You can choose wellness classes like yoga and meditation or have a workout in our spacious gym with all modern equipment. The hotel also offers surfing lessons, and you can even book time with a running partner!

The Pool

The Moana Surfrider provides an extraordinary pool and beach experience, with a wide expanse of soft white sand, iconic blue beach umbrellas, and an intimate pool area under the historic Banyan tree. The pool is open from 7 am to 6 pm, and paid cabanas and umbrellas can be booked 24 hours in advance for added convenience.
