What To Do When It Rains
First, check if it is raining everywhere. Sometimes there are little showers that come through for 15-20 minutes, so no need to change plans. If its not a bigger system then you can go to another part of the island. Storms can get caught up on one side of a large mountain that makes up Big Island and Maui keeping the opposite side dry and sunny but with the smaller mountains on Oahu, storms tend to engulf the whole island.
So now you decide whether to stay inside or go out and get wet. What is there to do on Oahu when it rains? Many of the luaus, shows, and activities are outdoors and if the rain is significant they will be canceled. Indoor dinner reservations should be a top priority.
